Chateaugay is a former State Correctional Facility located in northern New York. The property is approximately 10 miles from Quebec and Ontario in Canada and stands about one-and-a-half hours from Montreal - making the region a strategic location for Canadian companies serving the U.S. market.
The facility is accessed directly off State Route 11, which is the main thoroughfare that transverses Franklin County heading east to the Northway (I-87) 30 miles away, and west and south through Malone, Potsdam, Watertown, Syracuse, Binghamton, and beyond.
The property features 30 structures – all modern construction dating to 1990 – that total 98,000 square feet, on approximately 99 acres of land. The buildings are mostly single-story with metal siding and roofing and built on concrete slab foundations.
